Hi! I'm Quanjing Chen
I am Quanjing Chen [k-oo-ah-n-j-ee-n ch-eh-n], a full stack software engineer with a background in cognitive science. I defended my PhD at Dr. Brad Mahon's lab at the University of Rochester in New York in 2018, where I studied how human represent object knowledge with machine learning techniques, and gained a wealth of experience designing and programming computer-based tests with Python and Matlab. Following that I was a postdoctoral research scientist in Dr. Vankee Lin's lab at Stanford University, where I conducted research on applying machine learning to brain data in Alzheimer's disease field.I have a passion for applying AI to software develpment and recently completed an intensive training program at HackReactor, where I gained hands-on experience in both frontend and backend development through more than 1000 hours of coding. Now I'm eager to apply these skills and knowledge to make a difference in the tech industry. Particularly, I'm interested in applying my expertise in software development, machine learning and cognitive research to design and develop innovative solutions that positively impact people's lives.
